You can find organic linens made with 100% organic viscose from bamboo and organic cotton. Bamboo bedding is great for hot weather as the fabric stays a couple degrees cooler than cotton and actually a couple degrees warmer when its cool. Bamboo towels have this exquisite density to them, you touch one and you know instantly its bamboo viscose. They are far more absorbent than cotton. Handle them with some care and you will get years of use out them. Organic linens do require a little more care than conventional cotton but ultimately its better for the environment to hang dry them. You can put them in the dryer but they will last you longer this way and anything that holds a ton of water won't dry quickly in the dryer. Open air circulation is better. This isn't scientific its purely experiential. You won't find it documented anywhere that you have to hang dry organic linens, but it just makes sense.
