What's so great about bamboo t-shirts?
Bamboo t-shirts are usually constructed with a blend of 70% viscose from bamboo and 30% cotton or organic cotton. Viscose from bamboo fabric has a natural sheen that feels similar to silk or cashmere. Blending it with cotton gives it strength and helps the fabric keep its shape while still allowing for the extra benefits of bamboo to shine through.
A 70/30 blend is ideal, and organic cotton is preferred, for the environment benefits of course, and the overall quality and feel of the fabric. If you're not an environmentalist buy one anyway, it will be your favourite t-shirt. In fact

How to care for my bamboo t-shirt
Bamboo can be washed in the washing machine, cold water, and hung to dry at a low temperature in the dryer. Through experience though we have found that bamboo jersey dries faster than cotton jersey when hung out to dry. Hanging your clothes to dry is better for your clothes, better more eco-friendly and easier on the energy bills! For that reason we highly recommend hanging all bamboo clothes to dry.
